STOP

Yesterday we arrived at school a bit early since we had to take Hawk to school 1st because of the icy roads. Hawks bus never showed up, which meant he was a little late and Christopher was a little early.

When we got to school our friend Peter was at the front door with his "STOP" sign that he uses to stop traffic in front on the school.  Peter talked with Christopher about his sign.  He read it, spelled it, and told him what he does with it.

Later that day while passing another cross walk in another town a man had a similar sign and from the back seat I heard; "Mommy, Stop."

Early signs of reading.  Hawk disagrees, he thinks its because its a symbol, but Dan Sr and I remember when Hawk first began reading simple sight words and STOP was one of the first.
